23/11/2023

Skilly is delighted to announce its partnership with St. Setons Secondary School Ballyfermot to deliver its market-leading SPHE/Well-being measurement and tracking solution.

St. Setons are joining 3 three school communities that have, over the past 50+ years, provided excellent education to the boys and girls of Ballyfermot: St. John’s College, Caritas College and St Dominic’s College.

Commenting on the announcement, Catherine Turley, Deputy Principal of St Setons, said :

‘Skilly has created an innovative solution for students, teachers, and the school to track our students' engagement in developing the skills that underpin their development and Wellbeing. Students engage in self-reflective learning practices aligned with the curriculum. This gives us essential data on their progress and the impact of targeted interventions.

We are excited to introduce this programme to our community. The pilot programme will focus on managing bullying behaviours and will be deployed with the 1st Year Group in January 2024.

Commenting on the announcement, Shane Maguire, CEO of Skilly, said,

"Students cannot learn wellbeing skills from a textbook; they need to be owned by the student, repeated and practised". Our software makes that happen in schools safely and effectively for the student. We look forward to collaborating with St. Setons to support the enhanced development of their students' Well-being and life skills over the coming years."
