Ashbourne Community School Deploys Skilly for TY Curriculum with Comprehensive Financial Wellbeing Programme
21/03/2025

Skilly is pleased to announce a collaboration with Ashbourne Community School to introduce the Financial Wellbeing Empowerment Programme into the Transition Year curriculum. Starting in the 2025/26 academic year, 150 TY students will engage with this digital programme, designed to equip them with essential financial skills for future independence and responsibility.
The curriculum comprises three modules—Start, Grow, and Accelerate—guiding students from basic financial literacy to advanced money management. Topics covered include bank accounts and budgeting, pensions and savings, as well as taxes and insurance. Delivered entirely online via Skilly, the programme accommodates diverse learning styles, with teachers monitoring progress and providing feedback. Upon completion, students receive a Financial Wellbeing Completion Badge, recognising their understanding of key financial concepts.
This initiative reflects Ashbourne Community School's commitment to holistic education and personal development, preparing students for future financial responsibilities.
